You don’t need to be a creative whizz to trim your bake with realistic icing ‘tree bark’. Charming woodland cottages; fairy houses and pixie doors; tree stumps for an owl or gnome to perch on, or a super-realistic icing finish for a home-made Yule log… all are easily accomplished with a Katy Sue Continuous Bark Silicone Mould to give your cakes a wonderfully textured finish.

Incredibly detailed results

Turning out icing with incredibly realistic detail, this cake decorating mould has a pattern that’s easy to match on all sides, so you can join it up to create a seamless, continuous bark pattern on your icing to cover any size of cake. Extremely detailed, it’s ideal for covering a tier of a rustic wedding cake.

Easy to use

Designed for use with firm fondant, modelling paste and marzipan, this silicone mould is a super-simple way to create fantastic cake decorations with very little effort and no specialist or artistic skills. And although the results might be impressively intricate, they’re really easy to achieve. Just dust the mould lightly with cornflour before you begin, then push your paste into place, being careful not to overfill the mould. Once you’ve scraped away any excess, press on the back of the mould and flex to release perfectly shaped bark with incredibly defined detail.

Ideal for modelling paste, chocolate and more

Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this icing mould can also be used with melted chocolate, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out. You can even use it with pastry to make a truly impressive topping for pies.

Releases easily for perfectly preserved detai

Super-flexible and non-stick, it will release its contents easily, giving you wonderful definition with all the different, delicate details perfectly preserved.

Not just for food…
