Why not try wrapping your basket weave icing around a cupcake, topping the cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate eggs for a delicious and thoughtful Easter gift? To complete the look, you could make a basket handle by rolling out and plaiting some modelling paste.
Easy to Use
The results might be impressively intricate, but they’re really easy to achieve. Simply dust the mould with icing sugar or cornflour, roll out or press in your icing, then carefully peel back the flexible mould to release a perfect basket pattern with incredibly defined detail.
Versatile
Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this mould can also be used with melted chocolate, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out. You can even use it with pastry to make truly impressive borders for Easter inspired pies.
