I bought these as they are different to the usual bun cases being a distinctive shape and multi-coloured. I found they fitted nicely in the bun tin. I did notice however, that they are maybe cut a bit deeper, so that some of the icing dripped out. I have ordered more.
I ORDERED 2 X PACKS OF THESE A FEW WEEKS AGO AS THEY LOOKED NICE AND DIFFERENT. I WENT TO USE THEM YESTERDAY, I PUT 24 INTO 2 MUFFIN TRAYS AND THEY SEEMED TO FIT PERFECTLY. I THEN WENT TO CARRY ON MIXING THE CUP CAKE MIXTURE AND THEY HAD ALL SPRUNG OUT OF THE TINS AND GONE FLAT ALMOST. I PRESSED THEM BACK IN AND ALL THE FOLDS WERE THEN MIS-SHAPEN. COULDN'T PUT THE CAKE MIXTURE IN THOSE, SO THEY WENT IN THE BIN AND WILL NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN. GOOD JOB I HAD BACKUP ONES!!!!
We're very sorry that the cake cases went flat when you put them in the tray. We can only think that moisture, steam and heat from your kitchen or a preheated muffin tray could have caused this.
