"Present" star star star star star My daughter absolutely loves this as she does a lot of decorating cakes etc. This has given her a new challenge and she is really enjoying it.
"Brilliant fun!!" star star star star star I had so much fun making a rabbit and chick Easter egg for my little ones! I can't believe how well they came out. You can't buy an egg like the ones these moulds make. The look on my little one's faces in the morning when they saw their Easter treats was well worth the effort! I loved being able to chose which chocolate I wanted to give my little ones. I used a high quality 90% chocolate and organic white and milk chocolate.
"shame the moulds for parts don't work" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I have found that the moulds for the animal parts break when trying to remove the chocolate from them! I have no problem with the actual egg moulds and think it may be that the parts mould are too stiff and do not bend to allow you to release the parts! It is such a shame as for the first time in many years my daughter was getting an egg she could eat (made with caramac) as she cannot eat cocoa solids so back to an egg and decorate in icing! My grand children tried without sucsess as well! perhaps it would be better to make the parts mould with the same materials as the egg mould! support_agent A note from the team Thanks for your review and your suggestion for the body part moulds to be made from the same material as the eggs. I'm sorry that they break when you try to remove them. If you're using chocolate you could try refrigerating them for longer- at least 2 hours, getting the mould to room temperature and tapping gently on the surface. If you're using Caramac however we're not sure how this compares when melting and reforming. Alternatively, as you suggested you could make the parts fondant icing instead or the Renshaw flower and modelling paste we sell.
