Dualit 1.5L Jug Kettle Black 72400
Product number: 31961
With Dualit’s usual mix of practicality and style, this 1.5 Litre Cordless Jug Kettle in an eye-catching combination of black and stainless steel will stand out in any kitchen. And, more importantly, it boils rapidly, is easy to fill and pour from, and has a large viewing window so you can boil only what you need – even if you want just one cup.
Rapid boil
Making watching the kettle boil a much less arduous task, this smart jug kettle features a 2.4kW rapid boil element, heating your water in a flash and giving you that much deserved brew a bit quicker.
Large viewing windows
Making it easy to see exactly how much water you’re adding to your kettle, there’s a tall ‘window’ at each side – one marked in cups, and the other marked up in litres – so you’ll only need as much as necessary for the upcoming task, whether it’s making a much needed one-cup brew for yourself, or filling a teapot for visitors.
Boil-dry protection
As well as having a large viewing window, so you can see exactly how much water is left in your kettle, it also features boil-dry protection to switch it off automatically when empty. And the removable and washable limescale filter will ensure your water is always at its best for the perfect cuppa.
Easy pouring
With a hinged lid to make for convenient filling and emptying, and a heatproof handle to make it easy to pour from, this rapid boil kettle also has a specially contoured spout that ensures drip-free pouring.
360° base
Dualit’s Jug Kettle features a 360° base for added convenience, so it doesn’t matter which way you replace it, and non-slip feet on the base keep it in place during use.

About Dualit
Dualit was born out of one man's passion for invention, well-engineered products and hard graft. Max Gort-Barten came out of the British army after WWII filled with engineering ideas, and started his business in Camberwell. One of his earliest ideas was the Dual-Light electric fire, which gave the company its name, but it was their now iconic patented toaster that caught the public’s attention. Still specialising in toasters, Dualit’s product line now includes a range of small electrical appliances, from kettles to hand mixers and countertop ovens. Run by the second and third generations of the family, Dualit stick firmly to Max’s principles of reliability and durability: no frills, no gimmicks, no compromise, just great products.

This kettle not only looks good it is an excellent performer, with easy to view water level indicators and quick to boil.
I bought this kettle to replace one that went faulty. I wasn’t going to buy this one as I needed to pay another £35 but it’s money well spent ! It’s compact, sturdy, and looks fab. Quick to boil and I’m so happy with it.
My old kettle gave up so I was forced to buy a new one. Looked at lots of kettles, and came across this one. It looks good in the kitchen, heats up very quickly and is very light to lift. I got it with a £10 off voucher. Yes it is expensive but worth it. I looked at lots of reviews and this one came out tops.
This is the second one of these kettles we’ve owned. It is really solid and a good design. The other is still working and I kept it as an extra when we have a lot of guests. It was originally a lovely red colour but we live in a hard water area and some descaler took some of the red finish off it. Let’s say that after the paint stripper and subsequent sanding by my husband it didn’t look too good! It’s a bit noisy but quick when boiling. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good looking quality kettle, but for durability go for one without a colour wrap.
