I cannot understand why I did not buy this earlier. Brilliant gadget, does exactly what I want it to do, and takes up very little room in the dishwasher. Bliss.

It was just as viewed and described. I did not want anything fancy and am very pleased with it so far. It is robust, the blade does not fall out when pouring, and the drizzle hole is very handy.The speed knob is easy to use. The tricky lid is due to incorrect instructions! Put the lid on top of the bowl with its handle sitting just to the left of the bowl handle then holding the bowl handle with right hand use your thumb to gently push the lid handle on to the bowl handle this clicks it into place. To unlock I use my right index finger to gently push the lid handle to the left.
I have used this so far to chop onions, ginger and garlic, make ricotta, and salsa. It’s very practical; you can fit two medium sized onions in at once, along with a thumb of ginger and a few cloves of garlic. It has made short work of chopping and puréeing everything we have tried it with so far. I especially love the delayed spout in the lid for adding liquids. It’s very conveniently sized but powerful. I would buy again and would absolutely recommend to a friend. Next day delivery from Lakeland was prompt, and the tracking info was accurate.
I did a lot of research before buying this small chopper, as I wanted something small but large enough for 2 people. It is great for leaving on the counter as it looks so good, and it also performs very well. Chops herb, onions etc very easily, and liquidises soups and chunky sauces much better than my old blender used to. Once you get the hang of twisting the lid slightly clockwise to remove it, like you twist the container onto the main body, then it's a bit of a gem in the kitchen. Easy to use and clean, and a good looking addition to my worktop. I'd highly recommend it!
