It’s well-known that we Brits love our tea – so Sage have created The Smart Tea Pot to make everyone happy, whether we like weak or strong tea.

Created to heat water to various pre-set temperatures, including lower temperatures that suit more specialised teas, the Smart Tea Pot beeps three times to let you know when it’s reached your chosen heat setting. It’ll then beep again when your tea has brewed to perfection according to your steep time selection, so you’ll never again have to drink an accidental builder’s-strength brew, or watch the clock to get the best from delicate tea blends. And, with a no-nonsense ‘boil’ button as well, you can also use it as a regular kettle.

Features

• Pre-programmed, one-touch heat settings – with accurate temperature control for black, green, white and oolong teas. Green tea, for example, brews best at 80°C, while 100°C is the optimum heat for flavoursome black breakfast tea.
• Steeping timer – you can choose from Sage’s pre-set timings for a Mild, Medium or Strong brew, or there’s a Custom setting to give you complete control over steeping time, if, for example, you like your tea particularly strong.
• Stainless steel filter basket – with a fine mesh so loose tea leaves can’t escape into your brew, it’s easy to lift out once the tea is brewed to perfection, so your tea will stay just as you like it without the risk of being stewed.
• Keep warm function – once your tea has brewed, the Smart Teapot keeps it hot for up to 30 minutes. This function can be manually switched off to save energy if you’ve drunk your tea sooner.
• Auto-off and Boil-Dry Protection – for safety.
• Durable glass - German-engineered Schott glass jug for great clarity, strength and durability.
• Cord storage – underneath the base there’s room to coil the flex so it’s just the right length to reach your plug socket.
• Can be used as a standard kettle.
• 1.2 litre capacity.
• BPA free.

Please note: the tea filter basket should not be inserted until after the Smart Tea Pot has heated the water.
