Manual Settings
Manual low, high and pulse settings give you perfect control over whatever you’re blending. Go slow with low, fast with high – just press to start and again to stop once you’re happy with the results. Or to give ingredients a quick blitz, press and hold the pulse button for short bursts of power.
Pre-set Functions
If you have a particular task in mind, the one-touch pre-sets will help you blend to perfection with the press of a button. The ice-crush function turns up to 10 cubes to crushed ice ‘snow’ in seconds, ideal for chilled drinks and cocktails like margaritas and daiquiris; ‘liquefy’ blends soups or thicker ingredients, and the purée and smoothie settings blend even tough veg like kale to a wonderfully smooth, creamy consistency. And the smoothie setting doubles as an auto-clean function, so you can clean both the jug and blades with a single touch too.

This blender is fabulous, I have never had a blender that crushes ice cubes so well, normally they bounce around the jug, the blades are so good they crush the ice in literally seconds. Perfect for all the cocktail making this Christmas! It is easy to use with the touch control and looks lovely in my kitchen on the work surface.
I got this for my niece and great nephew - the baby is just starting to be weened, and I thought this blender, combined with a recipe book would help my niece introduce him to food! The blender is very powerful indeed and she's been using it for all sorts of things - not just baby puree. It's got anti-skid feet underneath so it's very sturdy on the worktop. The control panel is easy to use and it's also easy to clean out the jug - simply put some warm water and a little washing up liquid in and press the auto clean button! The instruction book also has some recipe ideas. Very impressed!
This blender is ideal - high quality, good price, a good size to have out in the kitchen, not too cumbersome, and looks smart. I love the ease of cleaning, especially if I have only blended some smoothie or juice. I bought this over other blenders because I was looking to use the ice feature to blend frozen fruits, and this does the job very well, super fast in fact, and this was a much better price than the other bigger brand names I was looking at. Impressed with the Lakeland guarantee too.
Purchased this to replace my current one and I couldn't be happier. Its fantastic quality and not to bulky either, I use most days when mixing up shakes and juices for my trips to the gym and general health and this blender is brilliant. Its not desperately loud and blends all manner of items very well. Ive started adding ice to my shakes and it whisks them up without leaving and large bits. Its easy to clean and one of the best options is the ability to chose density of mix. All in all im super happy with this blender and would highly recommend.
I bought this as a smoothie maker. Tick. It's sad that the goblet isn't made dishwasher proof. I'm blessed with good hearing and so can't agree with others that it's not too noisy. It's dreadful, my ears are ringing after being in the kitchen whilst it works. It is powerful though and I guess that is why the central metal spigot gets hot so I find it necessary to take the goblet off the base as soon as possible or the smoothie gets warm. Also, the goblet doesn't always sit happily on the cog which causes a devastating noise if you haven't noticed and switch it on. So it's not a glowing report
