"A step up from using a water bath" star star star star star_border I've used a pot in a flask method for years, this is a step up Biggest down side is that it only comes with 1 lid, for the 2 pots & they don't sell extra pots/lids It has a nice small footprint, smaller than our kettle, it's silent in use - but it doesn't even bleep went you press start or it finishes - so you ponder for a hour before the timer decreases by 1 (no minutes shown) & you sigh a relief that it's ok, a bleep wouldn't hurt The 2 pots are very wide & quite tall, so the have to go on the high shelf, most of the family can't pick it up 1 handed, particularly if it's got condensation
"Fabulous machine" star star star star star I bought this machine about a month ago and am very pleased with it. It makes delicious yoghurt and the Greek yoghurt is fabulously thick. So easy to use, very neat containers with lid. I love everything about it. I found the instructions simple and easy to follow. Takes up very little room in the worktop.

"Cannot hold the temperature" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Bought mine back in 2021, but it was never able to hold the temperature properly. I know they say to allow for 3 degrees error, but mine has always been more than that. Currently the temp is set to 25C, and the milk temperature is 50C. "Temperature controlled program C2 doesn't work" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought this yoghurt maker specifically because it had a programme option to set the temperature and time. Testing this programme with a food thermometer showed that it doesn't matter what temperature you set it to, it will always ferment at 44 degrees.
