Space-saving Design
We see a lot of steamers, of all kinds of designs, but one thing they tend to have in common is their worktop-hungry size. Not this tiny 2-tier one. Taking up hardly any space, its two stacking trays let you keep different foods separate while they cook, and its small size means it’s great for both individual portions and portion control – and really easy to store too.
What Can I Use it For?
If you like your food fresh, healthy and easy, steaming’s for you. It locks in nutrients, flavour and freshness – and unlike a lot of cooking methods, it doesn’t use any fat. Our electric mini steamer is ideal for steaming individual portions of veg, fish, or poultry, plus there’s a special insert which can be popped into either of the clear rectangular trays to let you cook up to 8 eggs at once - it even has special 'softness' options on the timer dial to help you cook your eggs exactly how you like them.
How it Works
Just fill the water tank, switch on and use the simple rotary dial to set or adjust the timer – it goes up to 40 minutes. Once switched on, the heating plate in the base heats quickly and creates steam which circulates throughout the stacked trays and cooks your food evenly for deliciously consistent results.

"Very useful small steamer"

I’m very pleased with this small steamer. We have limited space for pots and pans and this is an ideal size. It’s great for boiling and poaching eggs for two of us. It’s great too for poaching fish without stinking the whole house. My husband loves fish and I hate it so this has proved very useful.
"A good idea but disappointed"

This seems such a good solution for one or two people as it is compact. I used it for the first time yesterday to cook sprouts for two. I set the timer for 15 minuets and the sprouts were OK but found that it had almost boiled dry. I thought it strange to have a holder for 8 eggs when it the machine is only big enough for 2 people. I would much rather have had another partition for just steaming. I have been shopping with Lakeland for many years and rarely have been disappointed. Sorry Lakeland.

Lovely little steamer apart from the 8 egg tray . Product would have been better suited to 2 steamer trays . But I was prepared to buy an extra steamer tray to be told they don’t do spare parts !!

I bought this recently, and I found lots of faults with it. Namely Why a place for 8 eggs when it is for 1/2 people. Would have been far better to put 2 proper steamer trays in. Also the water evaporates for too quickly, but it also lodges in the 2 silly little containers which just about hold shelled peas. Afraid I wasted £29.99 on this, it is now in the back of the cupboard. Up date No change on my opinion but my husband has drilled holes in the 2 daft containers and at least the water runs out now, no doubt I have now invalidated the the guarantee!!!
