Forget faffing with pans, this steamer is easy to use and clean, and has a number of features to help make cooking a bit more convenient.
With three stacking trays and a rice bowl, so you can cook multiple ingredients at the same time, dinner will be served up in no time at all. Each tray has a generous 3 litre capacity, meaning 9 litres in total, and the rice bowl has a 1.1 litre capacity, so there will be plenty of food for the whole family. It also has a 60 minute timer so you can make sure dinner is ready to serve just when you want it.
Not just easy to use, this electric steamer is also easy to clean. The trays, bowls, lids and drip tray are all dishwasher safe, while it neatly stacks together for efficient storage when not in use.

This steamer is very efficient and works well. It was bought as a replacement for another steamer which I was not happy with. The trays fit together firmly and the holes are the right size as petit pois and other small food does not fall through. The timer dial is very clear and easy to adjust. I am very pleased. Also Lakeland customer service was excellent.
The photographs do not make it clear that the lid and trays are not transparent but an opaque shade of pea green which means that this is not great to have out on the work surface. It works as a steamer fine but to assemble it involves fiddling to get 3 trays and separate sides in the right order. The whole structure is quite precarious once everything is cooked. If you try to serve veg from one tier, it’s likely to collapse and spill them. I wish I’d stuck to the well-known brand I had before for many years. This Christmas I’m consigning this one to the bin.

A ridiculous design - lots of pieces to fit together, and must be in a certain order which can only be discovered by examining minute barely-legible labels in difficult-to-access area. I also taped up the vents in the lid - more than sufficient sufficient steam escapes elsewhere and by allowing excessive exit via the lid, the efficiency of the steaming process is compromised, and the kitchen ends up dripping. Will probably soon end up at the back of the cupboard unused.
