Lakeland Touchscreen Soup Maker 5 "JUST 'SOUPER'" Mrs Miller 13 August 2019 I swithered about buying this as I always make a large batch of soup in a pot every few days, but I have learnt in the past that everything I swithered about first before buying from Lakeland turned out to be brilliant - this is no different. I am in love with my soup maker! So easy to use and so quick to make soup in just 30 minutes. Now, I don't have to make such a big batch at once and I am making so many different varieties of soup now. I like the glass jug.I find it better to pack the veg down then fill with stock to the max line and I get a thicker soup. A great buy.

Just chop the veg, throw it in the jug with some water or stock and it's job done!! It's robust and well made. The only minor criticism would be that the jug is rather heavy when full
Lakeland Touchscreen Soup Maker 5 "Lakeland Soup Maker" Mrs Spence 21 May 2019 Brilliant Soup Maker however, when using it to make a sauce, it does tend to burn on the bottom, and trying to clean it seems to take rather a long time. (the sauce doesn't taste burnt and is lovely and smooth) Is there anything that can be done to prevent this happening?
