Lakeland Quick Prep Chopper

Really pleased with this little machine. Makes the preparation of crunchy salads very easy. Quick to dismantle and clean. Only criticism would be the securing screw is a little fiddly and I wish there was a spare in the box as it looks easy to misplace. I was not expecting this to be as good because of the other reviews but I have been very pleased with it. Used it with success on carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, onions, ginger, garlic, nuts, courgettes, peppers, butternut squash and sweet potatoes. Takes up so much less space on the work surface than my food processor.

This is the best thing since sliced bread! I grated carrots in next to no time for my cake. Brilliant. Sandra.

This item is brilliant for grating vegetables and cheese which I have only used it for so far. Would recommend this chopper.

I bought this in the sale. As I have deformities in both my hands I have always struggled with grating cheese/carrot etc. I decided to give this product a go and have to say it is really good. Its powerful enough to get through cabbage and carrots. I eat a lot of stir fry's so have found the slice attachment the better one, as the grater tends to make mush of the cabbage/onion. I've also made coleslaw. Its easy to clean not at all faffy. I would recommend this 100% to anyone with hand mobility issues and also to anyone else.

This doesn’t seem to be able to grate many vegetables properly. The motor is extremely under-powered & the machine struggles. I have tried changing the fittings, but this has little effect. Vegetables just seem to get stuck & mushed. I also found that because the vegetables weren’t getting grated properly, they were getting stuck around the attachment & made it difficult to remove the funnel. I had hoped this device would sit nicely on my work top & save me having to drag my foodmixer out of the cupboard. Sadly, I think the device will end up being put away in the cupboard & never being used.
