Simple To Use
To make your own desserts, simply chop fruit into chunks and freeze overnight, place a bowl under the chute, switch on and feed the frozen fruit through using the pusher to transform it into a mouth-watering, natural alternative to ice cream.
Works With All Fruits
It works brilliantly with bananas and berries, our favourites, or you can use melon, pineapple, peaches, pears, apples and mango. If you want a more decadent dessert try adding almonds, coconut or chocolate, or maybe drizzle with honey or maple syrup, or serve it as a healthy side to some freshly-baked brownies. Ideal for children’s puddings and parties too, they’ll love making their own cool and nutritious treats.
Easy To Clean
For easy cleaning after use, the Frozen Dessert Maker has a removable chute, pusher, nozzle and grinders, which can all be easily cleaned in warm soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge. Bought this on a whim as fed up trying to make fruit ice that takes ages in my chef, tried this tonight with some of my raspberries from last year, this is great, I had two bowls of lovely fresh fruit ice within minutes, now ordered various fruits to make more. I will be using this more & more & made a special place for it, well worth the money & well recommended.
Love this gadget, I have very few gadgets in my kitchen but this one I would not give up. It is amazing, I keep frozen fruit in a box in the freezer ready for when we want it. The children love to choose their fruit and make their own dessert, and so healthy nothing but fruit so tasty and amazingly creamy, I like banana and mango also banana and raspberry but any combination is delicious, banana gives it a creamy texture. You will not be disappointed, enjoy.
I bought this for my boyfriends Mum as she cannot have a lot of milk products and I have a similar one back home. It is so easy and turns various frozen fruits into a lovely soft serve. And it is much healthier than ice cream, I highly recommend it. Also as a definite perk it comes apart very easily to clean. Kids love it and you can feel good about giving them a frozen treat.
A recent purchase, so have only used it a twice. If you grow your own fruit it's a good way of using stored produce. Quick & easy to use, so great for a last minute pudding. Raspberry and banana was successful, but blackberry and papaya wasn't quite so good. Bananas probably make the dessert creamier. The dessert is not as nice as ice cream, but is healthier and enables me to store fruit and decide later how to use it. The only downside is that you can only use the machine for 5 minutes then need to give it a rest. Not a problem for couples, but larger families may need to eat in relays!

I purchased this Lakeland Frozen Dessert Maker when it was in the sale, it works well, though a tad unnervingly noisy (my elderly cat runs). It’s such a simple but clever device that produces quickly made yummy low cal desserts. I now keep chopped up over ripe bananas in the freezer for using in this dessert maker as the banana makes the dessert creamy along with other fruits. It’s easy to clean too though not dishwasher safe parts but easy enough to wash in the sink. My son couldn’t believe I’d made this creamy sorbet style ice cream so quickly, I use frozen fruit from my supermarket.
