I wanted a banana tree for ages and I am so glad I bought one. I can't eat any other fruit and so am not worried about the ripening gases bananas produce, but I did need something to keep my bananas from bruising. I used to lay them on top of the fridge and invariably some would end up bruised (and I hate bruised bananas). Now they are kept in pristine condition and the tree looks very stylish.
I was given one for my birthday and i already had one, so I use the second as a jewelry holder for my long necklaces! It works really well.
This banana tree is really handy, and it looks good too. What I really need now is a fruit bowl to match.
