I had high hopes for this machine. I've owned a Lavazza Jolie Coffee Machine With Milk Frother for four years and it was coming to the end of its life. When I saw a Lakeland offer for the Citiz machine I took it. What's good about it: Decent coffee, excellent crema for those who love espressos, sturdy build quality. What's bad: The frother is useless with semi-skimmed milk. The froth isn't creamy and disappears quickly. I researched the issue and discovered that only whole full-fat milk is recommended by a number of testers. By contrast, my old Lavazza still produces a creamy head that lasts.
