Lakeland Stashaway Collapsible Food Storage Container 800ml

I will not return to normal plastic containers having discovered this stash away container. It sits neatly in my cupboard unlike normal plastic containers that never seem to fit neatly away. The black plastic means it will not stain easily. I have not yet tried using it in the microwave but so far I am a very happy customer and will be looking to buy more (at a very reasonable price).

Seems substantial and well constructed. The price point seems comparable with non collapsible containers. Not sure its USP is that unique though, as your likely to have a few containers of variable sizes you can stack inside each other.

Okay so first of all, love the colour which might seem unusual to start with but having stored some strongly coloured foods there’s been no staining. It seems quite robust for a silicone container, you do need to take care as instructed putting on the lid, support/hold under the rim as you click it on but was fine when I did this. I would also suggest holding in the middle and not a corner as it can start to collapse. It has cleaned well and did not taint with the smell of the food. I had stored and microwaved quite a spicey tomato sauce. It is currently in the freezer and seems to be fine.

Bought one of each size to try. Love the fact that they all collapse for easy storage. Silicone so usable in freezer and microwave (not sure if clip lids are really suitable for microwave... my Ikea ones with glass bowls aren't) Colour is also a bonus as no staining on containers or is hidden because they're dark grey... have some cheap pink/blue versions that are all stained. Will deffo be getting more next promotion/voucher!

Really handy container for the caravan, holds a decent portion of leftovers and is easy to store when not in use. There is a bit of technique involved in putting the lid on if full of liquid, as it does try to collapse.
