Lakeland 360 Seal Food Storage Container 0.5L

I recently received this product and the first thing I did was use it for fresh fruit storage, I left some grapes in it for 2 to 3 days and they came out fine. I also tried to see how it faired in the microwave, (with the lid off) First I microwaved some tinned chopped tomatoes, then I microwaved some homemade curry. Both came out fine. I was expecting to see some staining on the plastic but after a normal wash there was nothing. I particularly like the seal and locking mechanism and the item, as a whole, has a robust feel to it. I shall be checking out some of the larger ones.

Love this 0.5 ltr storage container and will definitely be ordering the larger sizes. It’s very robust and when it clicks into lock position you know it is tightly sealed. The main thing I like about it though is that it is clear and you can easily see what’s inside without opening the lid. Most containers are opaque and it’s great that this is crystal clear!

I have stored sliced Ginger, Chilli and Garlic in this container for several days - it all remained fresh and absolutely zero smell remained The lid is a good design and the quality is very good - especially for the price

This is a great product. The slide and pull open lid is great, much easier than those pull of lids where you can end up with whatever the contents are all over you! You can see very clearly what is inside it and its a good size for items to retain in the fridge. I kept half an avocado in it for about 3 days and it didn't blacken or dry out at all - very impressed, I've also stored chopped onions in it and the container has not been tainted by the odour. It washes well in the dishwasher. I am hoping there will be more sizes of the same style to come.

Locking mechanism means you do not have to mess and struggles opening the container. You can use it for a multitude of different food types, and it kept each preserved. The only thing I was disappointed with was that liquid does not store well and leaks.
