Really like this have had no issues with heating in microwave i just loosened the lid. My lock and lock containers have started to degrade and conscious that glass is better than micro plastics Great to heat in both microwave and oven without lid
I bought this to replace older plastic products. This contains safe glass and plastic. The glass is lightweight enough to make lifting easier. The frozen veg that I use it for gets nice and hot in a short time in the microwave. I open the top vent, and you can leave the clips undone and the lid stays on, if you are worried they might buckle, as per one review. Very pleased with Purchase..
Good quality glass and have used once, freezer defrost microwaved and put in dishwasher and now I cannot get the lids back on and have resorted to using foil so I can at least put it in the freezer. You will need very strong hands for these.

The lids on these dishes distort under heat - put a sealed dish in the microwave to heat and after a couple of minutes one or more of the clips will have become unlocked as the lid distorts. Once distorted, it is almost impossible to reseal all the clips until the lid has fully cooled down.

Have purchased the other selection of sizes too all the clips won’t lock down unless forced by my younger stronger son. Wouldn’t mind but I’m only 50. Can not use the lids Huge disappointment as I have previous larger ones from Lakeland years back which are still going strong
