Lakeland Silicone Spill Stopper
Product number: 27833
Tired of your pots boiling over and making a mess every time you cook pasta, rice, or potatoes? The Lakeland Spill Stopper is here to prevent messy stovetops for good. This simple kitchen invention is designed to keep boiling water safely in the pot, so you can cook without constantly watching over your pan.
Using the Lakeland Spill Stopper couldn't be easier. Simply place it over your pan and let it prevent boil-overs before they even begin. As the water starts to bubble up, the Spill Stopper's unique design channels it back into the pot, stopping spills and splashes from overflowing.
Made from durable, non-stick silicone, the Lakeland Spill Stopper stays clean and fresh after each use. It's also heat-resistant up to 230°C, so whether you're boiling or simmering, this stopper can handle the heat. And when you're done cooking, simply pop it on the top rack of your dishwasher to clean.
Approx. 33 x 29cm.

This lid is excellent for stopping the overboil of water onto the stove, however when you want to remove the lid to test if the contents of the pan are cooked, how do you stop the excess water collected from spilling onto the stove - am I missing a trick here?
we would suggest removing it from the heat and allowing the water to calm down and the water should return to the pan through the vents in the stopper.
I’ve used this and it definitely works. I boiled pasta and I had no mess on the hob after. It’s a bit bigger than I thought it would be but balanced well
