"Possibly the worst electric appliance ever ..... Part 1"
Unusually for Lakeland products I find this item unusable for my requirements of cutting crusty bread. We have purchased many, many items from Lakeland over the years. As a sign of brand loyalty we have a 50 mile round trip the Lakeland-Woodlands-Stapleton after they closed the Sutton Coldfield and Solihull Branches. The issue I have is with its design. The cable length plug to knife is 1000mm. You lose 250mm turning the knife around. That leaves 750mm from the wall. On 600mm worktops and sockets height of 150mm = 750mm there is no real work space for the knife if it needs to be angled down
