"Great can opener" star star star star star I don't really understand the bad reviews. It was really easy to use after watching the video on all my cans. It works great for left-handed people!
"Doesn't open tin very well after 6 months" star star star_border star_border star_border At first I found this tin opener really good, now after 6 month I can't get it to open a single tin, it's such a shame because its a great mechanism, but sadly doesn't function reliably around the whole tin, meaning I have to get another tin opener to fully open the tin, leaving small sharp edges on opening. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for your review, I'm sorry that you're having problems with it. I've emailed you to resolve this for you.
"Tin openet" star star_border star_border star_border star_border The most awkward opener I have ever had. I have not managed to open a tin yet. The ring pull was also difficult to use. Would not recommend. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear it didn’t suit your needs and we've been in touch to help with the return. You may wish to try an alternative such as reference 27003.
"Terrible" star star_border star_border star_border star_border This tin opener simply doesn’t fit the vast majority of tins, only managed on one so far. Price is extortionate for something that promises so much but delivers nothing. Don’t buy it, spend your hard earned money on a brand that works. Waste of money - definitely not recommended. support_agent A note from the team We can advise that this does take a bit of practice. It may help to watch the video. Some tips include: Ensure that the lock is open and pressed down to the right as indicated by the symbol. Place the cutter onto the can ensuring this is pushed up against the tin and then lock into place, this will close the cutter onto the tin. Once secure use the handles in and out and in motion to rotate the can opener around the tin. Once you have gone around the whole tin, you will feel less resistance, keep the lock closed and to the left and lift the lid off the tin. You can then release the lid safely without touching by switching the lock back to the right into the ‘unlocked’ position.
