"DISAPPOINTED" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Bought these twist ties as I have always purchased them from Lakeland in bulk. They are now awful, not like the old ones. They are very thin paper construction with a very thin piece of wire. Can't see these lasting long. The old ones were so robust. Would not buy again. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment. As we're moving away from single use plastic, we were unable to continue stocking the older version. As we have a three year guarantee, you can return them for a refund if you'd like.
"Freezer bag ties" star star_border star_border star_border star_border The old ones were not single use - I am still using them multiple times as they are so precious as you no longer stock them. Replacing them with single use cheap and cheerful ones is far from environmental! support_agent A note from the team Thanks for your feedback, we'll make sure that your comments are passed on. if you bought it from one of our stores, then you can simply return it and they will be happy to help you. Please don’t forget to take your proof of purchase. The previous version was indeed classed as single use
"Not "durable and reusable"" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Please edit your inaccurate description. The OLD style twist ties lasted AGES, very reusable, and one pack could last me 10+ years. But these flimsy replacements are definitely only single use, once or maybe twice. The wire is thin as well as the covering being different and not stuck together properly. The layers often separate and/or the wire breaks, in use. I would recommend them only for single use situations such as a bake sale (although the bags they tie will have a long life, with care). support_agent A note from the team We’re sorry you found these weren’t as good as the old version and we’ve passed your comments onto our buying team.
"Useless" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I have always used Lakeland's plastic twist ties, which could be re-used many times. These new paper ones cannot even be re-used once if they have been used on a plastic bag in the freezer, so are not environmentally friendly. They are not even worth one star. Please go back to selling the original good quality ties. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. We're sorry these haven't met your expectations. We're unable to sell the plastic ones any longer as they were single use plastic and not recyclable.
"Terrible, single use at best." star star_border star_border star_border star_border Fall apart when actually trying to seal a bag for the freezer. Please bring back the old stronger ones. They may use plastic, but if they were classified as single use, that old classification was wrong. They lasted ages, multiple times. Reclassify, and bring them back. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. I'm sorry to hear they didn't suit your needs and I'll be in touch to help further.
