It's made of beech wood, is 100% food grade, and can be used in water temperatures up to 100°C. It's built to last, but good care can increase its longevity ‐ we recommend hand washing the slotted turner with warm, soapy water to keep it clean, and it can also be re‐oiled with a food‐grade oil to prevent it from drying out or cracking.
