"Poor design" star star_border star_border star_border star_border We bought one of these and it is now completely useless. It’s impossible to clean. Very disappointed that this £30 purchase only gave less than 18 months service. There is definitely a design fault. Would not recommend. support_agent A note from the team We’re very sorry to hear it hasn't met your expectations if you bought it from one of our stores, then you can simply return it and they will be happy to help you. The bristles are easy to clean: they can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Please avoid heat drying as that will reduce the adhesive affixing the rods together. The bamboo shell should be hand washed; additional polish may be needed after multiple washings. 2.Always dry your knife blocks thoroughly after you clean them and never place a wet knife into the block’s slot. This can cause cracks to occur in the wood.
"Better than the previous one that seemed to wear out" star star star star_border star_border We liked our previous knife block until it got to the point that you could not push the knives in. This one can be washed so I guess that will help. My main issue with the new block is the knives fall right further down into the block so you cannot see which knife is which (if your knives have the same handles).
"A great success" star star star star star Having treated ourselves to some new Robert Welch knives from Lakeland we thought we could get away with our old knife block but it didn't work well with our new selection. We were intrigued by this block and ordered it to try. It's really good as you can but any size knives in it and they fit snugly. You can take the inner out to wash it but we haven't needed to do this yet. It is great value for money and I would recommend it.
