As another reviewer found, the first clip I used in the freezer snapped when I unclipped it. It's not really practical to expect users to remember to defrost first, not is it advisable to let food potentially partly defrost when decanting from a larger pack. They're perfect for store-cupboard use.

Have used these handy clips for years. Ordered some more on the free postage offer and so pleased I did as they have been updated and it’s a big improvement. Much easier to clip closed and more secure. Highly recommend.
I have only used three clips so far, one of each size. The largest clip was used to close a frozen chips bag, when I next opened the clip it snapped at the other end. I hope it was just a one off faulty clip.
