Isn’t it annoying having to up-end all your cupboards to extract a full-size colander just to empty one can of veg? And not only that, but having to wash, dry and wedge it back on its shelf again, and clean up all the water that’s been dripped all over your countertop after you’ve finished rinsing your canned food? Designed to put an end to all those draining problems, Siftr is the perfect size to pop on top of food cans to strain out the water and brine inside, without the mess a colander makes.

Stress-free straining

Made to fit all food cans from 6.5cm to 8.5cm diameter (most food cans, like the ones you get tinned veg in, are 7.5cm in diameter), this little can strainer fits over the top of an open tin so you can empty out the brine straight into the sink. The different size holes make it easy to drain a range of canned foods, from lentils to chick peas.

Its compact size means it takes up a fraction of the space a normal colander does in your cupboards and on your drying rack, and if you end up getting more than one (you’ll soon find out why you should), they can be stacked on top of each other for even more space-saving helpfulness.

Save water on rinsing and cleaning
