Two sizes of bowl
Whatever you need the Expert Prep Pro to do, the two BPA-free bowls ensure you have the right size tool for the task. If you need to prep really big quantities of food, you can use the 3 litre bowl with the large blade or discs, or for small amounts, use the 950ml bowl. The small bowl nests inside the large one and is fully sealed, so nothing will leak when you’re making small amounts of your favourite dips and dressings.

It does everything very well, and more. Powerful motor for slicing, cutting, mince The dicer is a big bonus, super powerful for potato as well Easy to clean and the accessory storage box is a bonus. It does handle liquids very well, and I truly recommend for whipping cream - works perfectly with the main blades ! The grinder grinds frozen ice blocks of goods such as iced chestnut puree. Amazing value for money.
Well made, powerful, reliable, safe. Safety takes a bit of getting used to, you have to assemble and disassemble it in the right order. That's fine, you just need the manual to hand, for the first few uses. Dicing is amazing; brilliant results. Ditto liquidizing. My soups are not lumpy but have a tiny bit of texture which tells you they're home made, not out of a tin! They could have a bit more texture if I liquidised them on "low". Only downside is the dough blade for making bread. Bread dough was too much for it. The motor made a horrible noise and the whole machine shook worryingly.

The dough blade should only be used with the larger jug and it's normal for the sound of the motor to change as it's working harder. Very pleased with the Cuisinart food processor. It works well and I like the option of using the separate flat lid when processing items that don't need a feeding tube (pastry, bread dough, nut butter). Speaking of nut butter, I was surprised at how quickly the processor turned 500g of oven roasted nuts into a lovely smooth consistency, without adding oils. It tastes great, too! The smaller bowl sits inside the larger one in use and is brilliant for pesto, hummous, relishes, etc and the contents don't spill over the sides. The machine is also easy to clean. A very good purchase.
If you have ever owned a previous incarnation of the top of the range Cuisinart top of the range food processors you are going to be SERIOUSLY disappointed. This is not a patch on them. No weight, flimsy plastic, very annoying suction feet which prevent you from picking up or putting back the mixer into your storage area, smaller bowl size, the list goes on. I hate to write this as I've been with working with my Cuisinart processors for nearly 30 years and their support is first class. Really sorry Cuisinart but this product is total rubbish.

I'd spent several months deciding on a food processor after my previous one gave up on me (it was over 30 years old). I was down to deciding between two. When I got a voucher for 20% off from Lakeland and they had the Cuisinart Expert it made up my mind. I have tried all the functions and it performs well although I'm not sure how many I will be using regularly. The machine is very stable no jumping about and simple to clean. I am delighted with my choice and it looks very smart. Lakeland as usual gave first class service. Thoroughly recommend both Lakeland and Cuisinart.
