Functioning as a griddle, steamer and saucepan all in one, it grills, sears, sautés, steams, simmers and stews your favourite dishes, so you can cook a wide range of meals without the hassle of using multiple pots and pans.
What you get
- Cuisinart Cook In base unit – With variable temperature control dial to cook everything from a low simmer (90°C) to a higher sear (220°C).
- Non-stick cooking pan – Great for recipes with sauces and is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- Non-stick grill pan – For searing and grilling with maximum flavour in minutes. Can be used with the glass lid to stop splashing.
- Stainless steel steam rack – Lifts ingredients away from the surface of the pan for steaming.
- Glass lid with handle – Handy when simmering sauce-based recipes or steaming fish, vegetables and more.
Easy to use
Once you’ve put the correct plates or tray for your recipe in place and sprayed them with a little oil if necessary, you can plug the unit in, ready to get started. Turn the temperature control dial to your desired temperature and a red light will appear to show the appliance is heating up. When the light goes green, you’re ready to get cooking. How simple is that?
Cook and simmer
When cooking recipes with sauces, the cooking pan is great for sautéing ingredients first to really bring out their flavour, before adding the sauce and popping the glass lid on, leaving it all to simmer gently.
Steam
Not just for cooking and simmering, the deep cooking pan can also be used to steam fish, vegetables and more. Simply add some water to the cooking pan and then place the steam rack on top with your ingredients, before adding the glass lid.
High temperature grilling and searing
When searing and grilling, the grill plate works a treat if you’re looking to char your meat and bring out all the gorgeous waiting to be brought to life. Although grilling with the lid on isn’t recommended, the lid can be placed over the grill pan once the ingredients have cooked to avoid splattering.
Variable temperature dial
Heating up in just 6 minutes, it has low, medium and high settings, with a temperature range of 90˚C to 220˚C, which you can control using the variable temperature dial to cook in a variety of different ways.
Dishwasher safe
Non-stick pans, glass lid and steaming tray are all dishwasher safe to make the washing-up so much easier.
