"Lakeland Egg Rings" star star star star star_border I bought these for a relative, who needed new egg rings. I like that the eggs do not stick so much to the inside of the ring while cooking meaning cooking is not such a messy job. Very easy to clean and looks good. Better than metal.
"Get metal ones instead" star star star_border star_border star_border As others have written the egg/pancake mix just comes out of the bottom. Also, the handle of one of mine looked like it was starting to melt and snapped off on the first use. I'm now looking for some metals versions instead of these. support_agent A note from the team We're very sorry to hear they are faulty, and haven't met your expectations. if you bought it from one of our stores, then you can simply return it and they will be happy to help you. "Don't waste your money" star star_border star_border star_border star_border My husband recently purchased these for me and, generally, Lakeland goods haven't let me down. But this is an eye-opener to me. The eggs, when placed in them in the frying pan, simply leaked out, not contained by the rings AT ALL and I might just have well have not used them at all! Nothing like the photograph in the catalogue AT ALL! support_agent A note from the team We’re very sorry to hear it wasn't suitable for you . if you bought it from one of our stores, then you can simply return it and they will be happy to help you. Please don’t forget to take your proof of purchase. Please note you need to have the pan heated before adding the eggs or they will run out. The fresher the better for the eggs you’re using too.
"Useless Product" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I lightly greased the rings, heated the oil in the pan and when heated, put in the rings, poured in the eggs and the egg whites leaked out of the bottom of the rings straight away. I might just as well have not bothered for the good they were. I’ve washed them, put them back on the card they were attached to and will donate them to my neighbour for her charity jumble sale. Very rare for a Lakeland product to fail for me. support_agent A note from the team The fresher the eggs the better, but we're sorry the rings didn't work well for you.
"Eggs no. Pancakes yes." star star_border star_border star_border star_border Even with a hot frying pan, eggs will leak from the base of these rings. The pan would have to be hotter than Hiroshima to get instant coagulation and you'd have to like a VERY crisp base. Oil the ring and it will work well for thick pancake batter. I expect thin crepe batter would leak also. support_agent A note from the team “Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear of your experience. We’d advise to make sure the eggs you use are as fresh as possible. We’ve been in touch to offer a refund.”
