About Remoska
Made in the Czech Republic since the 1950s, the multi-talented Remoska looks like a pan, but has a clever heating element in the lid and cooks like an oven, if not better, using very little electricity. Roast chicken pieces (crispy skin, flesh as soft as butter), succulent lamb chops with golden roasted potatoes, toad-in-the hole and fish bake; toasted sandwiches, baked potatoes, pizzas from frozen, ready meals in their foil dishes; you can even bake light, moist sponge cakes and delicious scones. It’s great for a low-fat fry-up too. This energy-saving one-pot wonder will transform the way you cook, not just at home, but anywhere there’s a 240V electricity supply, so it’s great for boating holidays, motor homes, caravans and holiday cottages too.

Some good inspiration, tips to get the most out of the cooker and nice recipes. Wish there were more
I almost didn't buy this book due to the negative reviews. I am so glad I did. It's full of really healthy recipes. I've made savory, a pudding and bread, which all turned out wonderful. I was worried it was going to be all meat recipes and I am a vegetarian, but my husband isn't, so I thought for £5.99 less than the price of a good magazine what's to loss? Well done Lakeland it's a 10/10 from me.
Very helpful book to get you started, but I do feel there could be a little more content, e.g. how to spatchcock a larger chicken to fit into the smaller sized Remoska and possibly some details about potential pot-in-pot cooking.
A great little book to get you started and to give you the confidence to adapt your own recipies.
After reading some of the negative reviews for this book, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Nearly all the recipes are ones I would like to try and it is a good book to get you started if you haven't had a Remoska before. I've taken off a star because there is no index. Otherwise, I thought it a nice little book!
