Whether you’re looking to make the switch from less earth-friendly single-use wraps, or already have but the ones you’ve got don’t come in the ‘right’ sizes for the food you want to store – here’s the answer. BeeBee & Leaf's Leaf Wrap Roll makes a lovely natural, reusable alternative to cling film or foil. And at 33cm wide and a metre long, it can be cut to fit anything you want to wrap, with no bits that don’t quite meet or huge overlaps.

All-natural, eco-friendly and vegan-friendly

Made in the UK by BeeBee & Leaf, it’s made from organic cotton infused with responsibly sourced, plant-derived rosin, rice bran wax and sumac waxes rather than beeswax, so it’s completely vegan-friendly. The beautiful print of tropical leaves is printed with organic fabric dyes, so you can rest assured that it’s completely free from harsh chemicals and plastic. And because it’s made in the UK rather than being shipped in from further afield, it’s already been on one less energy-consuming plane trip or sea voyage than some other food wraps you can buy.

Seal in the freshness

Easy to use, simply place your food on your perfectly sized piece of wrap and then mould the wrap around it – the warmth of your hands will soften it and help create a seal that will stay in place as it cools, so you don’t need any additional clips or ties.

Versatile

Great for covering, storing and wrapping any food that you’d usually store in cling film or plastic bags, including sandwiches, leftovers from dinner, fresh fruit and veg, it allows food to breathe, making it ideal for storing food like cheese, bread and leafy greens that can ‘sweat’ and go soggy if they’re wrapped in plastic. You can use it to cover a bowl or plate – just place the wrap over the top and fold down the edges – or fold up pieces to form a pouch for salad in the fridge, or for transporting snacks like nuts, fruit or biscuits.

Washable and reusable

Get the most out of your wrap by washing used pieces by hand in cold, soapy water and then leaving them to air-dry. Then simply wrap them back onto the roll to protect them and prevent repeated creases and folds from weakening the coating.

Compostable

At the end of its life (with care, each used piece should last about a year), you can put this wrap on an active compost heap where it’ll break down naturally over time, and pieces can also be used as firelighters on a stove or barbecue. Either way, there’ll be no waste, and absolutely nothing that will end up in landfill.
