Mmmmm… Bacon. Crispy bacon. Of course, it’s utterly delicious but it can be messy to make in a frying pan or under the grill. Brian from our Marketing team has ended up with many a now-only-good-for-painting-in T-shirt after frying a rasher or two. Lékué’s Microwave Bacon Crisper is the answer.

Keep a lid on it

Simply lay your strips of bacon – it holds up to six – on top of the naturally non-stick ribbed base, put the clear lid on to prevent those pesky splatters, then put the Bacon Crisper in your microwave for around 5 minutes. While you’re waiting you can get on with buttering your bread, making the important decision between red or brown sauce (straw poll in the office came out red), or frying your eggs.

Easy to clean

Thanks to the ribbed design, not only does your bacon crisp up to perfection, any excess fat drips into the channels and can be easily poured away via a spout at the front. And happily, both the lid and base (which have handles to make them easy to, well, handle, can go in your dishwasher.
