"Conatains aluminium" star star star_border star_border star_border I was looking for aluminum and teflon/non-stick free saucepans. The discription says mixed metal. Turns out the main metal is alumninum. They also smelt very chemically which did not come off when I washed one (washed 2x and then I stopped as i had decided to return them).Due to these 2 factors I wasn't happy and returned them. If you don't mind aluminum then the saucepans are very light and nice to hold. I'm sure the chemical smell comes off with more washing. The reason why I gave 2 stars is that the negative points were due to my specific requirements rather than a fault with the pan. support_agent A note from the team We’re sorry these proved unsuitable.
"Earthpan Eco 3-Piece Saucepans" star star star star star After 50 years I needed to replace my saucepans. Looked at a lot but many were too heavy & too large. Then tried Lakeland & found the above. They are brilliant. Just what I needed. Right size & not too heavy for me to lift. Thank you Lakeland
"Pros and Cons" star star star star star_border I bought these pans to use on my new induction hob and like the fact that they are produced in an environmentally friendly way. Their non stick function is excellent and they are easy to clean. However, because of the shape, their capacity is very limited. I hardly ever use the smallest pan and even the largest is too small to cook vegetables such as cabbage or kale for any more than two people. I would therefore only recommend these pans for a couple or a single person and not for a family.
"Outstanding" star star star star star I never write reviews but just have to with these pans. They are honestly the best saucepans I have ever used over decades of cooking. They do just what they say they do (bringing things up to boiling very fast and simmer at very low heat setting) and the non-stick is super effective. All that and recycled too! There is one watch point though - they are deceptive in that the capacity is less than I thought when I first looked at them. I am a one person household, but if you have a family you will find yourself using the bigger ones and may want the big stockpot too.
