Made from recycled and recyclable materials
We were very impressed when our Buyer, Kathryn, reeled off the list of planet-friendly features for this pan. Made from 100% recycled materials, the pan itself is made from recycled metals, while the handle is made from recycled plastic bags, actively reducing the amount of plastic waste polluting our planet. At the end of your pan’s long life, it can be recycled. Better still, the packaging is 100% compostable. They really did think of everything when developing this waste-free range.
Toxin-free ceramic non-stick coating
If you love the easy-cleaning convenience of non-stick but you’re not so keen on the chemicals used to create those hassle-free surfaces, you can put your mind at rest when using any pan from the Earthpan range. I bought this pan along with the smaller version to replace old worn out pans. Yes they are a bit more expensive than others but I must say the quality is exceptional. Follow the guidelines supplied, don’t overheat the pan dry and look after it in the cupboards. Great to see the eco friendly aspect to this as well, something I look at now as a must when purchasing products.
I so wanted this pan for stir fries, but sadly I have to return it. I have tried this pan on 4 different induction hobs and it only works on 2 of them. It did not work on mine. I did the magnet test ( if the bottom is magnetic it should work on an induction hob) and it is magnetic, but for some reason I cannot get my induction hob to heat up when the pan is on. I took it to a kitchen showroom, it worked on their hob, but not on mine or a friend’s. I had an online chat with Tom and in the end we both decided I would need to return it. Maybe if I get a new induction hob I will try it again.

I bought this pan about 2 months ago and I can genuinely say it’s the best wok I’ve ever had. Heat distribution is great. Cleaning it is so easy, it still looks brand new even though I use it daily.
Bought this pan a few weeks ago and am highly delighted, Really is non stick, only needs a wipe. Bit expensive - bought with a money off voucher, but will save up to more pans from this range. My only teeny criticism is that it slips a bit on the cast iron grids of my gas hob. but otherwise highly delighted.
This pan is a good size, easy to clean and a delight to use. My only issue is that on reading the care instructions it appears that using hot oil in the pan isn’t recommended as it spoils the coating. A stir fry pan that is ruined by hot cooking oil? This doesn’t make sense to me.
We can advise that only a little oil needs to be used and it's important not to overheat the pan.
