Magnetic Clockwork Timer

Poor reliability. Despite following the wind-up instructions I have found the timer regularly stops its countdown at random, which is worse than having no timer at all. I have ordered another timer from another supplier. Waste of money.

Very dissapointed with the timer. This is the 2nd one. The first stopped working after 2 weeks - replaced by shop, but replacement has now become very difficult to use as it is very very stiff to turn the knob. Not of good quality. Would not recommend

Hi, I had one of these for some time, the magnectic back was great as I had a magnectic board by the door. It then moved into the farmhouse with me and survived for a bit longer before it fell apart and the magnet fell off. (Helped by children). It is most important to remember to turn all the way and then back again as another reviewer stated. However I found it was not sensitive enough for small time periods ie a few minutes. I found it was a good guide for instance for 20 minutes to remind me to check things in the oven. Not the most accurate of timers. Tried to replace - failed!

I am so glad to find this is still available - my local store did not have it in stock. Ours recently wore out and nothing else will do. Simple, effective - and the brilliant thing is being able to carry it away from the kitchen. I've not found anything else that enables this! this

Very much as other reviewers have found - the timer rang for a very brief time at about 3 minutes from the end and then kept ticking. No good if you're timing something with a short cooking time! It did this even if wound to the end and then wound back. Also, I'm using the past tense because although I bought it about a year ago it's recently stopped working altogether. Not a great product.
