Hardwearing mesh
Made from polyester net, these five fine mesh bags have plenty of room inside to help you carry home a generous quantity of spuds and onions for weekly shop after weekly shop.
Drawstring fastening
Each bag has a strong drawstring cord with a toggle closure, so your chosen varieties of apples, oranges or carrots can’t escape when you load them onto the checkout conveyor belt.
Breathable
Because they’re made from mesh, of course air can pass through, but the added benefit is that the fine netting eliminates condensation, so veggies won’t go soggy if you don’t unbag them the instant you get home.
Washable
Once empty, the bags can be popped in the washing machine, and can even double up as laundry wash bags to keep socks or tights under control.

I live alone and have long been disappointed in having to throw away vegetables that have become mouldy in the 'fridge before the pack is finished. These bags have solved the problem and the produce stays fresh right to the end of the batch.
Well made bags, different sizes, useful for putting loose veg in to avoid the paper bag tearing. Can also be used in the washing machine to keep small items together.
Fruit and vegetables keep so much longer especially with a drainage mat in the base of the containers.
A great planet friendly product that keeps vegetables fresher for much longer.
Bags seem well made and sturdy. Lakeland description is to carry veg home in but reviews all comment on storing veg in then.
