Looking for new salt and pepper grinders? Salter’s High Gloss Black Salt & Pepper Mill Gift Set offers a super-smart take on the classic, chess piece-style wooden mill. Made from beech wood, their traditional-with-a-twist shiny black finish and stainless steel accents mean they’ll grace any kitchen countertop or dining table with their good looks, and they’re beautifully well made to stand up to the daily grind.
Both mills have a diamond-hard ceramic grind mechanism that’s easy to adjust from coarse to fine – simply turn the adjuster on the top to select the size that’s right for your recipe – and then twist to season.
Unfilled – just fill with your favourite salt crystals and peppercorns.

I've always preferred the classic salt and pepper grinder look but always found the items I purchased stopped working after a while. I've had these for 10 months now and they're still working perfectly and look brilliant.
I bought this set 3 months ago and the pepper mill has already stopped working due to the mechanism stripping the metal shaft of the grinder meaning it no longer turns ... not what I expected of such a well known brand. Customer services have kindly refunded - thank you

I bought these last week and they’re exactly what I’d hoped for. They’re sturdy, good quality and look great on my dining room table. I’m very happy with this purchase - definitely an upgrade from my old pair.
I bought a set of these salt and pepper pots. The are very stylish and really good quality. However they are completely ruined by the Salter brand name written in large letters on the from of each item. This looks awful and totally cheapens these items. I am so disappointed. The branding is clear on the web site but I did not look at that before purchasing these in store. I did not notice it in the box either.
