Every baker or cook needs a sieve for getting the lumps out of flour or sugar, straining jam and sauces or even rinsing fruit. Our 20cm Soft-Grip Sieve has a grippy handle that helps you keep a firm hold, even with wet hands, so there’s less danger of the contents ending up all over your floor or countertop, or rolling around in the sink.
There’s a fine mesh to take care of the sieving/sifting/straining bit, a looped handle opposite the grippy one which is ideal for resting on the rim of a mixing bowl or holding it steady, and it’s made from robust stainless steel so it can go in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.

I use this sieve for baking it is brilliant comfortable handle and well balanced on baking bowl would recommend this for all bakers

Very pleased with sieve as i am disabled the handle is a great help I have had many items from Lakeland over the years at first i was able to go into my local shop in Canterbury .As i have now become very disabled and have had to give up my car.. i ring Windermere and speak to very nice helpful people. Description says 'Fine mesh removes any lumps' but this sieve, although seeming to be an excellent product with a comfortable handle, does not have a really fine mesh in my opinion. I wanted to replace an old nylon sieve with a really fine mesh, but although this Lakeland sieve would be OK for flour, I wouldn't want to use it for sifting icing sugar for royal icing, for example. Excellent customer service, with refund processed within 24 hours.

Happy with the sieve so far. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip and it balances well on my bowls. I tend to use my sieve for baking, so have not put any stress on it - so, so far so good, and no issues.. If I am able to, I will update my review in the up coming months to let you know if it lasts the Christmas battering.
