To instantly convert any saucepan into a steamer, pop our Foldaway Steamer Basket inside or on top.
Unfurling its stainless steel ‘petals’ to fit inside pans up to 23cm diameter, it lets you steam veg without having to buy a separate steamer. Just add a little water to your saucepan, lower the basket inside using the ‘stalk’ in the middle, then add your veg. Rounded feet means it won’t damage the non-stick coating on your prized pans, and the stalk makes it easy to lift out when your veg is cooked.Closing up to just 14cm across, it’s easy to store inside a saucepan and it can also be used (with care) to steam things resting on top of a pan of rice, pasta or potatoes – as long as you’re only steaming a small portion.

I'm so pleased with the Foldaway Steamer. I use it nearly every day. It fits neatly into a small pot and it doesn't take up too much room in the cupboard. In addition it's a lot cheaper than the larger, heavy duty steamers.
I was struggling to get vegetables out of my Duo Crisp Instant Pot with out burning myself on the sides of the deep pot, but this steamer fits it perfectly and is so easy to use.
Not my first!! Slightly more expensive than other makes, but you get what you pay for. It's far sturdier and you can unscrew the "stalk" in the middle, remove it and use on its own to steam your puddings.
Wish I had not bought it as it is rather small and collapsed into my saucepan.. I should have ordered a proper steamer with a lid.
