Ultimate Soup Maker 100 Recipe Book by Joy Skipper

Product number: 26507

Cutting down on time spent slaving over a pan on the hob, a soup maker can revolutionise family meals and workday lunches alike, and Joy Skipper’s cookbook, Ultimate Soup Maker, is packed full of delicious recipes to treat your taste buds and maybe even fill your freezer too. It’s a must-have for anyone who owns a soup maker, and the perfect partner for our Touchscreen Soup Maker.

From light lunches to something more substantial, soups can be healthy, comforting, hearty and nourishing, as well as being a really easy way to incorporate loads of vegetables into your diet and get the whole family eating well. With a soup maker, it’s super-quick to create these flavours as the machine deals with cooking and blending at the same time – and there’s far less washing-up too!

Five chapters guide you through every type of soup recipe – Skinny, Super Simple, Hearty, All-Time Classics and Something Special – so whether you’re looking for inspiration for a dinner party recipe, simple speedy lunches or family-friendly suppers, you’re sure to find something to suit.

All the recipes can be made from start to finish in a soup maker that has a sauté function, or started in a pan and finished off in a soup maker. Each recipe makes four servings and includes hints and tips for additional garnishes.

"Slightly disappointed"

star star star star star_border

I have to agree with a previous review, I also purchased this book when buying my Soup Maker as it came as a recommended purchase by Lakeland it wasn’t until we made our first attempt at using the soup maker that the recipes don't relate to soup maker quantities and if using a recipe from this book quantities need to be dropped substantially.

support_agent A note from the team

We're sorry this wasn't as expected. This soup maker book can be used with lots of different soup makers, the quantities will need to be adjusted to fit the soup maker you have.

"Great bppl"

I have only tried one recipe from the book and it turned out great: the carrot and cumin. I was unsure since my soup maker doesn't have a saute function ( I have the Lakeland one) and I used the sauce one instead. I am no great cook and I didn't see the onion browning but in the end it turned out really well. I will try other soups now as I always used to do the chorizo one in the instruction booklet which is also good.

Note the author is Joy Skipper and not Sara Lewis. Brilliant book, it does what it says on the tin as the saying goes. So buy it now and enjoy making the best soups that you have ever tasted using Lakeland Touch Screen Soup Maker.
