Perfect for any fan of wok cookery, our Prue’s World Stainless Steel Wok Utensil Set was designed to help you get the most out of your wok while making an attractive addition to your kitchen.

Consisting of a skimmer and a turner, this handsome two-piece set is made from quality stainless steel and features attractive crushed bamboo handles, so they’re practical, durable and easy on the eye. Each also has a long handle so you can scoop fried, boiled and steamed foods safely without getting your hands too close to the heat or hot liquid.

The skimmer – also known as a ‘spider’ – features a wide shallow mesh basket made from stainless steel and a long stainless steel ‘stem’ topped with a crushed bamboo handle, making it ideal for removing food from hot liquids such as water or oil, and for skimming foam off the top of broth. More effective than a slotted spoon, the mesh basket allows liquids to drain away easily, so it’s great for fried or boiled ingredients and even poached eggs, and helps to keep delicate foods in one piece when transferring them from wok to plate.

The bamboo-handled turner has a long stainless steel ‘stem’ to keep you at a safe distance from the action, the head has a curved edge that glides under food so you can flip and turn it easily, and it’s perfect for lifting delicate foods like fillets of fish.

We tell anyone who’ll listen – we love to cook and can think of nothing better than finding creative, authentic kitchen tools that make cooking a joyful experience. So when Prue Leith approached us to collaborate on an exciting new range inspired by her trips around the world, we thought all of our birthdays had come at once!

Prue has been everywhere. She’s had an amazing life of cookery and adventure, and her culinary voyages have been a huge influence in this range’s creation. As well as being a passionate chef, founder of Leiths School of Food and Wine, TV personality, restaurateur and writer, she’s a globetrotter with a love of foods from afar, and the cookware in her own kitchen has been cherry-picked from her trips around the world.

A self-confessed Lakeland fan, Prue invited us into her home and we were like children in a sweet shop, exploring her vast, eclectic cookware kit for inspiration. Her wonderful stories behind each piece, as well as Prue’s exacting guidance, has resulted in a range that’s as interesting and colourful as Prue herself.

Prue says “I want everyone to experience the pleasure and satisfaction of producing food to share with others.” Prue tested every item herself to ensure everything worked as it should, and if something wasn’t quite right, she helped us make it perfect.

Made from attractive crushed bamboo zebra wood, ceramics and durable metals, everything in Prue’s global cookware collection is practical enough for everyday use, and will work brilliantly for all of your own culinary adventures.
