BarCraft Traditional Nut Cracker

Product number: 26428

The humble nut cracker may only make an appearance once a year but you can’t really do Christmas properly without one. Well, not if you’ve got nuts to crack.

Instantly recognisable as a classic Nut Cracker, this robust, no-nonsense tool will tackle the hardest of nuts: almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, even Brazil nuts are no match for the take-no-prisoners serrated jaws.

With two sizes of jaw to cater for all nut sizes, the strong teeth hold on to your nuts tightly, and the curved handle makes it comfortable to squeeze – nothing quite beats that satisfying crack as the shell yields.

Ideal for cracking lobster shells and crab claws too.

About KitchenCraft

Founded in 1787 by Thomas Plant, the company began as brush makers. They moved to Birmingham in 1850 to take advantage of the new technology of the Industrial Revolution and became manufacturers of ironmongery, expanding into kitchen essentials and household items until, by 1985, they were specialising purely in kitchenware. In 1996 the company name was changed to Kitchen Craft to help customers understand the brand and its position as a worldwide market leader in kitchenware and tableware. They’ve developed many famous core brands, each with their own personalities, offering an unparalleled choice of cooking, baking and food preparation tools as well as serving items and gifts that are instantly recognisable for their quality, and yet manage to be affordable. The company is still proud to be based in Birmingham, although Thomas Plant might not recognise their modern, 21st century premises.

"Absolutely useless"

star star star_border star_border star_border

Was fed up with nutcrackers that weren't strong enough to crack fresh nuts .I thought I'd pay a bit more and shop at somewhere more reputable ..Lakeland. What a disappointment. After cracking a few nuts, the nutcracker bent out of shape. Absolutely useless. I regret buying this ...especially paying £7!! Fortunately I found a much stronger, better quality one for half the price.

I bought these to use at Christmas, very strong and work well on walnuts but anything smaller, forget it!!
