If you ask us, there’s not a lot wrong with a portion of crispy golden chips now and then, but we’ve lost count of the amount that have fallen off the spatula and onto the floor when transferring them to oven tray to plate. And wasted chips make us sad.

Wide head and higher-than-usual sides

With a wide head and deep sides, it knocks the socks off a traditional flat spatula when it comes to scooping every last crispy chip or sweet potato fry from a tin. The raised sides and back allow you to scoop a big portion in one go, without them all tumbling back onto the tray, and the three slots allow any excess fat to drain away. Another annoying little problem solved – hurrah!

Not just for chips

Roast spuds, fish fingers, roasted veg – and chips, of course – are so much easier to lift with this deep-sided scoop spatula, and if you’ve ever had a fried egg that’s slid off a not-quite-level spatula before reaching your plate, it’s an absolute revelation!
