We love a good food storage solution at Lakeland, and we know you do too, which is why our Buyer Kathryn was so excited when she discovered LocknLock’s Glass Food Containers. This little tub isn’t just good for keeping your sarnies safe or your salad fresh (it will, of course, do both excellently), but as the glass container doubles up as an oven dish, it’s perfect for making a delicious portion of dauphinoise potatoes or a casserole for two, while the steam-vent lid allows you to heat up food straight from the freezer without removing the lid.

Versatile and durable

Not just your average food container, it’s made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass, which is incredibly durable and everything-proof – you can use it in the freezer, making it perfect for batch cooking and making your own ice cream; it’s microwave safe, so you can heat up your leftovers and frozen meals; the glass container (not the lid) is oven safe to a whopping 400°C, so it doubles up as a mini casserole dish; and the whole container is dishwasher safe, so it’s a doddle to clean too. We told you it wasn’t your average food container!

Steam vent lid

The silicone steam vent in the plastic lid of the container makes it easy and convenient to microwave food with no messy repercussions, and there’s no need to open or remove the lid, so you can take your prepared meal from the freezer, press the vent to open, and pop it straight into the microwave. When the vent is closed, the container is completely leakproof.

Stain and odour-resistant

Unlike plastic – which can retain odours from old food and stains easily, quickly becoming unsightly and condemned to banishment in the depths of your cupboard – the glass of these super-handy containers won’t stain or retain any nasty niffs, so you can start afresh with every dish.
