Safer on your fingers than metal graters, and less wasteful, this smart white porcelain grater plate features two different sized sets of raised “teeth” so you can choose the best size for whatever you’re grating. Particularly good for ginger, the textured surface means that the soft pulp and juice stays on the plate, while the long fibrous bits stay separate so you can discard them. The small moat around the edge captures all the flavourful juices and oils, while the lip at the tapered end of the dish makes it easy to pour the oils and brush the purée into your cooking pan.
