But if you don’t have the same knife skills – or the patience – what you need is a handy gadget that chops uniform potatoes and veg for you in just a few seconds... Step forward the Pro Chip and Dice.

3-in-1 potato and veg chopper

Making veg prep an absolute doddle, this chipper, dicer and slicer couldn’t be easier to use. Just insert the pusher plate, pop in your chosen blade cartridge – straight blade for slicing or dicing, or square for chips or diced veg – put your food in and push down the handle and… ta-da! Even hard veg glides through the sharp stainless steel blades with barely any effort. You’ll be amazed the first time you have a go – we were! And it's impossible to put the blades in wrong, so you can be sure the sharp side is always facing the way it should.

Mmm… chips!

We’ll admit, rustic chips are tempting, but if your prepared pile of potatoes features skinny-cut fries, chunky, wonky wedges and every other chip size in between, it can be hard to get them all evenly cooked at the same time. Just peel and pop in a spud, press down the handle and you’ll be presented with a batch of uniform chips – all exactly the same thickness – so there’s no guesswork about getting your home-made chips just right.

Chipped, sliced or diced in a trice

Fancy a change from home-made chips and sweet potato fries? How about sliced, sautéed potatoes instead? They’ll be done in a jiffy, while spuds, carrots and courgettes are cut into neat cubes in mere seconds. It’ll come to your aid if chopping onions usually leaves you in tears, too, dicing them into perfect squares faster than you can say ‘pass the tissues!’.

Snacks, salads, soups and stews

Need a huge pile of veg for your home-made soup? Whatever’s on the menu, you can leave the knife in the block – our Pro Chip & Dice will save you loads of time (and laborious chopping!). Make cucumber sticks for healthier snacking; cucumber cubes for salsas and dips; neatly cut cubes of veg for veggie curries; sliced carrots for your Sunday roast… You can even use it for apples – well, we can never resist a crumble!

Safe and easy to use

An extra-large suction base holds it firmly to a work surface while you work – just push the little lever down to create the suction. And once its done its work, it’s really simple to clean – just remove the blades and pusher parts and give them a dip in soapy water.
