Consisting of a premium, all-over, triple-layered coating inside and out, it offers exemplary food release and maximum durability. Ultra-smooth to prevent staining, scratching or chipping, the hi-low grooved design also protects the cooking surface by reducing abrasion – helping to make it so tough that you can even use metal utensils on it.

It’s not just the non-stick coating on Circulon’s Excellence pans that’s built to last – their double hard-anodised aluminium construction is twice as hard as stainless steel. The secure flat rivet design means food won’t get stuck, the stainless steel handles are angled for ease of use, and the saucepans and chef’s pan have secure-fitting, deep-seated stainless steel lids which are also oven safe up to 260°C.

Love this pan - I've use it for slow cooking and one pot dishes. It has good depth which allows for mess free cooking. Easy to clean and care for.
EDITED REVIEW after nearly a year of frequent use: The best pan I have ever had. High-sided, so browning meat or frying doesn't splatter the hob. Great on our gas hob for cooking veg, stir-fries, stew or curry. Slow-cooking a pork casserole in the oven for 2.5 hours left no sticking at all - debris just rinsed away. Very impressive non-stick. Washes extremely well by hand or in the dishwasher. I was sent this pan to review, and am thrilled with it. It is large so I keep it on the hob, but if it had a detachable handle it would fit in the cupboard and be 100% perfect. Definitely a 5-star pan.

I changed my hob to induction about a year ago and have been buying new pans for it ever since. This lidded chef's pan is worth it's weight in gold. It's perfect for my new hob. The size is great for a family cooking as well as smaller meals. It is multi functional. Better than a frying pan for browning meat. Great for cooking on the hob sauces,meats, etc etc. I can not recommend this pan enough. I do a lot of cooking and I use it the majority of the time. I wish I had thought to look on the Lakeland sight for new pans. I will be ordering others in this range shortly.

I do a lot of one-pot cooking on the hob and this is perfect. I have used it to prepare food for two as well as for larger amounts and it coped beautifully.
I bought this just after lockdown started. Between lockdown and having just retired, I've had more time to cook and I've used the pan a lot. I've found it invaluable. It fries well and is great for stews, risottos and any of those everything in one pan meals. It's deep enough to stir without any risk of spills, it cleans beautifully and its so useful having a lid. Having tried several good quality non stick pans and being disappointed, this works just as advertised. Brilliant
