Lakeland Everyday Solid Cooking Spoon

The spoon is a lovely shape for scooping liquids efficiently, and it won't scratch non-stick pans. It's great that it's heat-resistant too. So won't melt. But the handle is far too heavy, making it very unbalanced. I have made a right mess countless times with this spoon. It's necessary to be very careful every time I put it down or try to rest it in a pan.

I bought 2 of these spoons and have thrown them away. The handles are too heavy and topple out of the pan together with a nasty mess of whatever you are cooking. My fault perhaps for leaving the spoon in the pan.

I wanted a serving spoon which won't scratch non stick pans so I purchased this spoon online in March 2022. It is very poorly designed as it is top heavy so falls out of the pans. Every time I use it I end up with a mess on the floor or on my feet and end up having to clean the floor. I was going to throw it in the bin but I think I will return it to store as I have found the receipt.

A very bad design. Keeps falling out of pans because the handle is to heavy. Not up to Lakeland's usual standards.

After one use of stirring a casserole the edge of the spoon started to melt and peel away. I took it back to the store and swapped it for another one and the same thing happened with the 2nd spoon. What was more disappointing to me however was the shop assistant asking me if I’d left the spoon in the pan so suggesting it was my error instead of accepting that Lakeland are selling a rubbish product.
