It's great that it's heat-resistant too. So won't melt. But the handle is far too heavy, making it very unbalanced. I have made a right mess countless times with this spoon. "Disappointed" star star star_border star_border star_border I bought 2 of these spoons and have thrown them away. The handles are too heavy and topple out of the pan together with a nasty mess of whatever you are cooking. "Poor design" star star star_border star_border star_border I wanted a serving spoon which won't scratch non stick pans so I purchased this spoon online in March 2022. It is very poorly designed as it is top heavy so falls out of the pans. Every time I use it I end up with a mess on the floor or on my feet and end up having to clean the floor. "Poorly Made" star star_border star_border star_border star_border After one use of stirring a casserole the edge of the spoon started to melt and peel away. I took it back to the store and swapped it for another one and the same thing happened with the 2nd spoon. What was more disappointing to me however was the shop assistant asking me if I’d left the spoon in the pan so suggesting it was my error instead of accepting that Lakeland are selling a rubbish product. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. The spoon is made from material similar to nylon so it will melt if the section below the silicone handle is left against an incredibly hot pan for a long time or in hot oil for example. It can’t withstand the same heats as silicone but it certainly shouldn't happen while stirring a casserole so we've made sure your comments have been passed to our buying team to look into.
