Counting down from up to 60 minutes, it’s easy to set – just turn the dial clockwise until the hand reaches 60 minutes to wind it up, then turn it back anti-clockwise to the required time – and it has a hard-to-ignore alarm clock-style bell that lets you know when it’s done.

It comes in four kitchen-cheering colours – blue, green, red or yellow – with a strong magnet on the back that holds it securely to your fridge.
